Shoot 005 was very exciting for us, for a number of reasons… First up, this was our first go at tackling ‘historical’ concepts, so we got to play with some awesome costumes and props, to create two sets: Gypsy Witch and Victorian Gothic. We threw a cape into the equation, and even got a BONUS set: Warrior Priestess!!
The Gypsy Witch set in particular is very versatile, and proved to be very popular with our Focus Group – these images could be used for a wide range of medieval, summoner, and even pirate concepts.
Take a look at some of the shots we got for each set, hopefully we have the image that you need for your project…
Gypsy Witch:

Battle Ready. Not just a pretty face…

Violent delights have violent ends…

A quiet moment for study…

A deal with the devil…

Summoning the mystic forces…
I’ve always been disappointed with the lack of suitably moody Victorian stocks out there, so we sought to rectify that with this next set.
Victorian Gothic:

The terrible secrets of Blytheford Manor…

A Victorian Classic…

The investigation…

Who goes there?

The lady doth protest…
For the final BONUS set, things got a little more violent, with the use of dagger and sword props!!
Warrior Priestess:

Come hither, to receive the sacrament…

The battle hard-won…

The double cross…

A Dark Fable…

Entering the threshold…

We’ll be bringing it back to more contemporary subject matter for our next shoot, focusing on a series of Action Thriller images, for Crime, Spy / Espionage, and high octane concepts.
